My Top 3 Favorite Kitchen Sinks

There are an infinate amount of options for kitchen sinks. I’m goin to boil it down to my TOP 3 and simplify it for you.

  1. STAINLESS STEEL - It looks pretty when it is first installed, but realistically over time it will get scratched and have water spots, and that may drive you nuts. I would recommend adding a sink grid on the bottom to help prevent the scratching and clean with Bar Keepers Friend on a weekly basis. My favorite is the Prolific Sink by Kohler. It’s comes with so many fun accessories, that I can look past the upkeep!

  2. COMPOSITE SINK - It is made of granite and acrylic. These are heat, scratch, stain “resistant”, and always look good. These are perfect for my clients who say they want little to NO MAINTENANCE! My go to in a Silgranit sink by Blanco. There are of course a variety of styles and color options, but this is the one I have installed the most!

  3. BEAUTIFUL WHITE CAST IRON SINK - A classic beauty. If you decide to go this route, spend money and make sure to get a good quality one, otherwise it may chip and rust. I recommend Kohler.

Contractor Tip: Choose wisely. Once that sink is installed (assuming you do an under-mount sink, which you should) it is not replaceable without re-doing your countertops.
